I am really struggling today, I just want to binge on crap sooo badly. My husband and I started weighing in once a week and I don't get to weigh myself until Saturday buti seriously am working my *kitten* off and feel like I look even bigger.... Does anyone ever have days like this? When will it end. Going to the gym as soon as the hubby gets off work and have gone everyday. I wish this journey wasn't such a struggle...

Everybody has days like this. Just breathe through the craving and push through the discomfort. Try to imagine how you're going to feel when you reach your goal. And as with anything, it will get easier.
I had an uber stressful day todayand totally wanted cookies and ice cream. But instead I sat down and slowly drank some herbal tea and had a square of dark chocolate....totally did the trick!0 -

Yes it is a struggle. Be thankful you can go to the gym. I have arthritis in my right hip and I can no longer walk on the treadmill (which seemed to be the way for me to "drop" weight...now it is more of a struggle. So in other words...enjoy the gym.0

I feel you on this.
I have a terrible history of eating disorders and my relationship with food is not a good one. It's a battle everyday.. but it's one you must face. Fortunately I've gotten to the point where I can identify when I'm eating because I'm hungry... and when I'm eating because it feels good (even though sometimes I continue to eat anyways).
I've lost a good amount of weight.. and now fluctuate between 118-121 lbs. Almost everytime I look in the mirror.. I see a girl that still has weight to lose.
I'm not sure when that will ever really go away.0 -
Sometimes you feel bigger because you gaining muscle. Do you measure? Sometimes losing inches is better than just going by the scale.
Hope going to the gym makes you feel better.0 -
Its ok to take a day off. weight loss and feeling good is a journey and lifestyle you are going to have days where you take a step back, and its 100% normal. Just make sure you take 2 steps forward the next time you are at the gym.
Drink some water and have a green apple. Fish is also perfect food to fill up on and its very low cal.0 -
Thank you all for the positive feedback. Today has been so much better and I'm so glad I didn't cave in to the cravings. I did breakdown and made the hubby get out our hidden scale and felt much better to know I lost 6 pounds (wasn't expecting that one!) Im not recording my weight til the official weigh in but it was def enough to keep me going. I need to remember this is a process. I didn't gain the weight over night and I can't lose it that way either. I wish you all the best of luck in your journeys!0

Deep breaths. In through your nose. Out through your mouth. Good, now join the crowd. We all have those days. They do get some easier, but I don't know that they go away. I used to freak out at just the smell of pizza. You can do this. Good luck on your weigh in.0

I've def. had days like that...you feel like you're not accomplishing anything and what's the point. Well you need to stay strong...you'll see results on the scale at your next weigh in and if you don't the weigh in after that. I find getting over that mental hurdle to be the hardest thing about weight loss. I've had those same thoughts and ate all junk food for a month...trust me it will make you feel horrible. Power through this, go to the gym weigh in and you'll feel great. Think positively and shut off your brain from those negative thoughts. I know it's much easier said than done but sometimes I wish someone would say that to me Good luck!!!0
