So this is a very mini success but its HUGE for me. This is my second day on my diet so its still hard to resist sweet temptaions that I love oh so much. Well last night while I was at work I was offered GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!! UUUUGGGGHHH and my favorite kinds. I said no and after I did I did not even feel like I wanted any. This is HUGE for me for many reason but I am proud of myself. WOOHOO baby steps

AWESOME!!! Good for you! And just think, after a little while of eating right, the girl scout cookies will taste pretty bad.

Way to go!!! Those "mini sucesses" will carry you through!!! :drinker:
  • I know EXACTLY how that feels. I had purchased 2 boxes last week and immediatly went to town on the 1st box. Then Sunday I just woke up with this NEW motivation and desire and decided that was the day to start my new life. All week I have had the 2nd box, sitting on my desk, begging me to open it and eat the delicious Samoa's inside. I have almost caved a few times, believe me! Well today, I did open the box (but only to cut the bottom off so I can get $1 off my next Golden Spoon frozen yogurt) and then I promptly donated the box to some fellow coworkers that would "dispose" of them. I am so proud of myself, it would have been so easy to say "well, just one" but we all know "just one" doesn't mean anything!

I'm so proud of you! Even if it was only a "mini" success... any success is worth mentioning!

Thank you everyone. I am glad I finally have the will power to say no. For so long i have not had that power. Its back and its not going anywhere this time!! I won my first battle many more to follow but the war will be won!!

Nothing 'mini' about that. If it's huge to you, it's a huge success. You're in it to win the game against yourself! Don't downplay it, and keep it up!
