Tuning out have you done this?

I hit the wall yesterday..i normally enjoy learning about other diets..just to grab a tip or two. Dr. Oz had another expert on giving his advice on how to "not diet"..not counting calories..how it doesn't work..blah blah.. And i just shut down. AFter reading through these forums..I've come to realize that losing weight is just really learning the maximum calories you can eat balanced with exercise to live your life the way you want. I can no longer take a supplement..or eat a combination of foods..or eliminate this or that..or eat every two h ours. all these crazy diet combinations that really just sell books and keeps people from really figuring it out.
