Switching from maintenance to loss again

I've been doing maintenance for about 6 months now but over Christmas I gained a few pounds, I'm so disappointed with myself. Now I'm back to 1200 cals per day, maintenance levels were 1500 per day. trouble is I just cant seem to stay within my goals this time round-I'm sooooo hungry!

I'm exercising between 200-600 cals per day (hrm measurements) to allow myself eat extra but still cant seem to land at 1200 net. Any tips for beating hunger and getting back on track again? Is it just that I'm not "used" to 1200 per day anymore?

Would love some motivation advise from you other MFPers-i feel like it's impossible! All I can think about is food!
