My current weight is 149.4 and my goal weight is 140.. and for the past few weeks I have been teeter totting between 148 and 150. I think it is because befor I gained all my weight that was my original weight. how did you guys get thru losing those last 10 pounds?

You may need to eat more. You've lost 30 pounds, your caloric needs have likely changed - peeked at your diary and it looks like you're set on the standard 1200, which honestly is likely too low for you anyway. When I was down to those last 10lbs or so, I upped my calories and it helped.
Have a look at this topic - great info there and links to tools to run your numbers through & figure out calorie and nutrient goals: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
I've been following it for well over six months with great results - I eat 1800+ calories a day and I'm losing the fat.
How's your exercise routine? What sort of things are you doing? If it's all cardio, adding some resistance training/weights will help as well. If you are already doing something like that, maybe change it up, start adding heavier weights.0 -

Thankyou so much, I have thought about doing eatting more calories it just freaked me out a little bit but I have been reading that people who eat more weigh less.. I think I may try that. My exercise for the most part really is cardio.. I like to do Jillian Michaels DVDs and things like that I think this week I will start lifting more at the gym and buy heavier weights for when I do DVDs at home. I will check out the link. thankyou for all your help0 -
I couldn't agree more that you need to eat more. Though up your calories slowly, say 100 more per day for a week, to let your body get used to it. Then up it again another 100 or so until you get to where you should be eating.0

I would suggest setting your goal at 0.5lb loss per week and do some heavy lifting strength training. This combined with adequate protein will ensure that most of the last bit of weight comes from fat instead of a large % of lean muscle loss.0

For those last 10 pounds I set my calories for .5 pounds a week lost. I will also say that it took me a good 4-5 months to lose those last pounds too!0

This is my problem too, I have my final 7 lbs to lose but it wont go. I am beginning to panic as I am getting married in 10 weeks and really need to lose the extra week, but am so scared to add more calories as I haven't got many weeks to try different ways. xx0
