Avocados

I love avocados but I'm never sure how to log them. How are they measured to decide whether they are small, medium, or large?

When you buy them there are usually seperate prices for small and large. I think medium would probably be the largest of the small priced variety.

Usually it will say "avocados" for small avocados and "large avocados" for those on the description at the store and in the ads.

Track your calories and macros by weight not volume.

Weigh them. I use grams. A medium sized Hass is about 65 grams and 120 calories or so.

Not where I live. There is one price and that's it. The price is usually per avocado (I live in New England).

As others have stated, use weight measurements instead.

I gave up on the small, medium large thing and simply weigh mine. Then log it per ounce.

Note: I do weigh it with no peel or seed. :)
