this question drives me crazy.... NO ONE ( especially on an online forum) CAN ANSWER THIS FOR YOU....
125 lbs on a 5'5" person of Asian, African, European,Latin etc will likely ALL look different and will wear sizes from 4 to 12..
my own 2 sisters, of whom we are the same height and weigh within 10 lbs of each other wear different pant sizes....
not to mention the "build" of a person... and apparently everyone who is on the bigger end of the clothing size range claims to be athletic built now.....
one could be 125 lbs and "skinny fat" or apple shaped pear shaped ( though I suspect MANY folks arent sure which of these categories they REALLY fall in) ... and then there is the chick who is shaped like Sponge Bob....All of her curves are in her Bra.... she may even be a size 2 with her pants sagging in the butt....
BOTTOM LINE, Do you want to look good IN clothes or do you want to look good naked?? Or perhaps its just the NUMBER ( be it clothing size or pounds) you are obsessed with??
You need to work out to YOUR Personal best and to reach YOUR goal whatever that may be... You cant be happy saying I weigh 125 lbs and thats what most 5'5" girls weigh so Im happy... it SHOULD be I weigh 125 pounds, Im happy with the way I look and Im both mentally and physically healthy...

Most people just don't know what weight they should shoot for. It's better to just base it off your BF% than pant size, weight, etc.0

I agree with this. At 5'4" I look my best at 140 pounds which would be a really high weight for some people my height. I can fit comfortably into a size 6 pants and I still have curves. My frame is large and I carry my weight well. I don't think I would want to try and maintain anything lower that that. There is definitely no perfect weight for every height. That is why BMI charts give ranges. I am just on the high end of a "normal" weight at 140 and that is fine with me0
