Hey.. This is me participating. My name is Sharon and I'm a total fat *kitten*. I signed up here hoping to find some inspiration, motivation, guidance and support. Everything else I have. I've been building my arsenal up for quite a while. I got a cadillac plan gym membership, a moisture wicking wardrobe, a bodymedia thing (that tells me precisley how many calories Im NOT burning), an ipod, a polar heart rate thing with a chest strap, a vitamix for the protien shakes I should probably start drinking one of these days considering I have a giant barrel of that **** too. Prework out mix, post workout mix, vitamins, supplements, etc etc etc etc. Plus, I have (dont be jealous) TIME! I don't even work, I just have one kid at home. And he LOVES the gym. I have it all. Seems like the only thing I don't have is any more excuses. Oh, and motivation. I dont have any of that either. I... don't know what my problem is. But do understand that I am fully aware of what a lazy POS I am to have all these things but yet do nothing with it. I think about that all the time.

OK! That's all I got. Thanks for reading.

Good luck girl! You got this!
  • Hang in there and just take it one day at a time. If you have a bad day, then start fresh the next. You can do this!

    Good luck
  • I know how you feel. For about a whole entire year I just decided to sit at home and be miserable and just eat eat eat... I wanted to be better than that but my head wasn't in it. I was depressed and just used to and addicted to eating certain stuff. I felt confused and trapped. It's all a horrible cycle, an addiction. You have to train yourself to make better choices. You don't necessarily have to restrict. I think it all will come into place as you track what all you eat and finding out what you're consuming too much of and what you're getting not enough of. I think MFP seems legit. At least you don't have to pay for it. Paying bills, buying groceries is expensive as is. It's a struggle, but just hoping and trying will help a lot. You'll make mistakes and not be perfect but you'll learn from them. Get exercise and track what you eat... ANY kind of exerices helps. Drink WATER! Some people don't like the thought of water alone, what I would do is squeeze some lemon or lime juice into it and whenever I got sick of it I'd just switch to water alone and it comes natural as that. ;) You got plenty of support here.
