Ok, I get the whole "less calorie and workout thing" I normally work out, even before I started this program. I run out of calories by 2 or 3 in the afternoon, so to say the least, I have been going over every day. (this is day 5 for me) I am starving by supper, and well, have to eat. Any suggestions? Is there a good food out there to eat that is filling and low in calories?? HELP!

Maybe if you made your food diary "public" (you can do this through the settings tab) it would be easier for us to see what you are currently eating and make some suggestions.

try adding alot of veggies to your meals, leaner meat and smaller amounts of carbs, such as pasta, rice, ect. What are you eating for breakfast and lunch? Try egg whites with sauteed veggies. Please tell us what you are eating so we can help.

i don't know what you're eating.. but basically the best thing to do is eat a lot of vegetable and fruits. and anything with fiber. these foods are less calories and you can eat more of them making you feel full longer. it's hard for me.. dinner is usually my biggest meal so i try to plan accordingly so that i have enough calories throughout the entire day. i'm starting the south beach diet though so i'm limited on what kinds of foods i can eat right now. good luck and just keep going with it and try to find a balance that works for you!

Are you sure you are not setting your calorie goal too low?
  • It is all about choices. Buy low calorie foods, cut out or limit things like butter, breads and other high calorie foods. When we have pasta I replace it with spinach. Another thing I do is I plan out what I am going to eat before I eat it. This way I am aware at all times how many calories I am eating before I eat them. You can plan out your meals for the day and with the left over calories replace them with healtly snacks. This way you are eating every hour or two and don't feel as hungry. On a side note you will feel hungry for the first week or two, that is normal, but that means you are losing weight. I tend to eat more carbs for breakfast and lunch than I do for supper. I group excercise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours every day. In 5 months, I have lost 30 lbs and lowered my blood pressure from 258/138 to 120/80, no kidding. I hope that helps. It is not a one size fits all process but keep at it and it will make sense and work.
