I am 39 and training for my second half marathon but really need to drop some weight, I love candy! I set a small weight loss goal, would love to have some friends for this journey, I started running 2 1/2 years ago but my eating habits keep my weight about 170, I haven't seen 150's for maybe 20 years.

I am training for my 3rd Half Marathon (and need to drop about 30 - 40lbs) and was told at the Y to focus on doing the miles for the Half Marathon and when that's done, then focus on my losing some lbs. They said, one thing at a time and not to worry about not losing any weight while training for the 1/2.0
