my name is steph, i'm 24 years old and 6ft. i've been losing weight since 2007, starting when i graduated high school at almost 300lbs, i got that down to 240lbs and then january 2011 i went at it again, getting myself down to 205lbs. now i sit at 223lbs having gained a bunch of weight in the fall. i am getting married to the love of my life in August 2014 and i will be started my dress hunt this coming August.
my goal is to get down to around 200lbs for this August, and maybe tackle another 10lbs before the actual wedding date. i've had no problem in the past getting to 200lbs but beyond that i fizzle out and either don't know how to take it up a knotch or just lose motivation. at this point i'm working out for 30 minutes to 60 minutes 4 times a week. on days that i do 60 minutes, it's usually 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 on the stationary bike. i have bad knees and i have been advised not to run by my doctor, but i want to start incorporating some 30 minute interval runs into my routine, with 1 minute walk 1 minute run.
anyway, looking for other brides to be to help keep me on track!
