Hey guys,
I have had a great time losing weight this week. But since I am a veteran at this , I know that all weight is not fat. How do you know or rather how do you make sure you're only losing fat and how do you resist the "scale illusion" , that is thinking you've lost fat but really you've lost muscle.
Thanks.

By doing strength training.
Also, clean eating will help with water fluctuations.0 -
You would have to get your fat percentage measured with calipers, or take measurements or something.0

Get your measurements taken regularly, preferably by the same qualified person.
Another good indication is if your strength goes down or remains the same while you're in a constant deficit, but that's my broscience for you. If your strength is the same, then it's safe to assume you're losing little lean tissue (if any)0 -
If bro science go you them pecs, then Bro science for the win.0
