Flat tummy w/o surgery after having babies?

Okay, so in many magazines and on t.v. I see women that have had children and go back to having flat stomachs. I do know a few women like that personally but they weren't very big to begin with. But I want to know is it possible to be over 200lbs whether it be from childbirth or not and then loose weight and have a flat stomach? If so what do I need to be doing? I not asking for a ripped 6-pack (would be nice) but what happens with the loose skin that hangs? Does it magically go away as you shrink? I've had 5 kids and my stomach is the only thing on my body that I would love to change. I love the thickness in my arms, legs, and butt, just not the jiggly tummy.

I am 199 and was 215 at my highest and I have a pretty flat stomach minus if I slouch sitting down. I have a more athletic build but also chalk it up to genetics. I hold my weight on the lower part of my body. So, is it possible? I say definitely!

Hard to say since genetics, age, and how much you have to lose will dictate it. Skin is an organ and you can't exercise it to get it tighter. It can shrink and take up to two years to retract enough, but you'd have to just do it and see.
The majority of females I know that have had kids and returned to very close their prior shape, worked out the whole time they were pregnant and didn't gain much during pregnancy.

Post from 2013, user who posted has since been deleted, so probably out of reach of our advice. May help someone else, I guess?

How do we end up having threads from a decade ago reappear? Do people go deep scrolling? I've tried using the "keyword search" feature, and consider it next to useless as I never actually find a thread related to what I'm actually looking to find.

In some cases, I believe it's that a spammer wakes up an old thread, then the spam gets flagged/deleted, leaving us with an old thread that we don't notice is ancient.

This thread would be a good candidate to have been spammer-wakened, cynically speaking: I'll bet someone out there has a product, program, piece of equipment, blahblahblah, that will give people a flat belly . . . supposedly. Just send $$$$.
