Starting tomorrow (for real!) ;)

HI guys,
I've gained 15 pounds in the last 2 years since I entered my 30's with no really no change in eating or activity. Frustrating! I gained 50-60 pounds with each of my kids and bounced back with no problem, so this inching up of my weight can't even be blamed on having kids. I've done the myfitnesspal thing before and I last a month or two before I am on to the next "diet" and the yo-yo cycle continues. I'm starting to realize it really is just calories in vs. calories out and that my other plans always fail because I restrict myself too much. This I feel I can do for life but I just have to stick with it!
Anyone with a similar amount of weight to lose please feel free to add me (females only please) and we can motivate each other. I just want to feel good about myself again

Sticking with it is really hard!! You are so right to get control of the weight before it gets any worse and somehow aging does make the metabolism slow and makes it harder. If you change your patterns now you will be so much healthier and happier down the road. Some one posted an article about how counter productive it is to under eat since it makes your body less likely to lose weight over the long term. I wish I had saved the link, but the point was that for long term, permanent weight loss, we need to eat just a little less than we need and lose the weight slowly. I hope you stay here and stay motivated!!0

Thank you, I think you are so right! I do plan to stay here this time. Otherwise I'll have to keep buying bigger clothes and I really don't want to do that0
