Definitely not!!0

I consider it a challenge to see how close to the line in can get without going over.0

I feel bad when I don't eat all my calories.0
-
I try really really hard to!0

Sometimes, yeah, I do feel guilty. I guess I feel that if I ate all my calories for that day, I could have done a little better and stayed under my calories more to help myself even more.0

hell no.
Guilt is for wusses.0 -
Nope! I eat my exercise cals, too. I earned them, and I'll enjoy them.0

Not guilty as such but I don't like eating them all just in case I get hungry later & wish I had some left.
Has been a year and so far I've never needed those 'spare' cal's but that's probably because I know they're there if I want them and that, in a reverse psychology kinda way I guess, stops me using them.
It's a head thing.0 -
Not in the least. Sometimes I even eat more...don't feel guilty about that either.0
-
No, not feeling guilty or stressed.0
-
that is called an eating disorder.0
-
Not really.
I struggle to get to my calorie goal though, but it's about 2700-2900 calories per day now.0 -
Nope, I don't feel guilty for eating my calories. I'm not scared to eat either...as in..I'm not stressing on hoarding my calories "just in case" or feeling bad for that candy bar.0

I used to in the very beginning. But not any more. I mean, I am eating at a 25% calorie deficit in reference to my TDEE. So if I eat LESS than all my calories, the deficit is closer to 30% which is too high of a deficit to safely lose weight.
But when I was a beginner at all this back when I was obese, I was all like "Oh crap, I shouldn't have eaten that much cause I'm gong to get fatter." Logic wasn't my biggest thing back then, lol.0 -

I feel bad if I've wasted them on crap rather than nice healthy stuff, but not for eating the amount set out. I see it as a target to hit rather than something to eat under.0

I guess there aren't very many of us that do feel guilty about it, but yes i sometimes do. i know i am allowed a certain amount and i should use them, but i always tend to try and leave some, if i don't i want to exercise to give myself extra...i am working on not worrying about it so much tho.0 -
I like to keep a few left for "just in case" at end of day. I don't feel too bad being plus/minus 100 cal., but no more!!!0

I try to never eat all of them since i don't lob butter and stuff like that, i do have days where i go over though, like on Thursday i took the 2 little kids to BP for supper since it was just the 3 of us and i'm sure i ended up over a bit.0

When is guilt ever rational?0

Nope. I see it as a target, not a limit.0 -

No way. I eat everyone happily.0

It can take a while to shift attitudes, but no, I don't feel guilty. In the beginning I was hyper-aware and constantly fretting over my food choices. I didn't know how to eat healthy. I am still learning. But practice and seeing that a few days over here and there hasn't set me back has eased the worry significantly.
I'm also learning how to adjust for my hunger (i.e - eat more healthy, filling foods instead of junk food, which is high cal and often not filling), so that even when I do go over, I can feel confident that I at least made better food choices.0 -
No, but if I've eaten them all and find myself really hungry and I am forced to go over I feel guilty. It doesn't last long though. I remind myself that it's only a little and most days I end up under goal and I probably have some to spare and then I'm fine.0

No, because I burn enough in my workouts and we need the fuel to be out best and really push hard when we do workout. :-)0

I think it comes from years of trying to lose weight by eating less, and denial of food to yourself. Now when you see you CAN eat more and its ok, you still feel like you did something bad because all the other diets trained you to think that you had to deny yourself.0
