You go girl! This is the 'first step' that I recommend for everyone!!! Most of us WAY underestimate our general activity, even if we DO work out.
I love the Omron HJ 151. You can get it on Amazon for about $13, and it re-sets itself at midnight so you don't have to remember. Stores 7 days, and it doesn't fall off like most of the other cheapies. I bought a few and gave them out as gifts.
