Eat healthy before you go, and get something small at the party. If that doesn't work for you, then exercise and earn some extra calories.

i cant believe how bad some of that stuff is! and i would eat at that place at least once a week before. now i like the sugar free ice coffee. but i cant believe how many calories in just a burger. the grilled chicken sandwich without the mayo isnt so bad.

ohh! ive been working my butt off with exercise! hour a day at least. just this site has really opened my eyes to what is in food and its just hitting me lol.
  • Ask for the side salad with a sliced grilled chicken breast and an ice tea. Thats what I get when I'm on the go. I also do the parfait but I dont use the granola. This is cheap under $5.

I've been to Mcdonalds twice in the last 10 years I think, but I think the grilled chicken wrap is what I got!

You could always get some chicken and not eat the bun? Or a salad and ask for the dressing on the side? Or maybe get one of those kids' meals. Doesn't it have fruit with it?

Do you have to eat there? Maybe eat before and skip the salty, fatty, "fake" McDonald's food.

Eat normally before you go, sip on diet cola or diet tea & watch the birthday kiddo have a good time. No one will notice you *not* eating! If they do, then just smile & tell them you are too caught up in the fun & don't want to miss it!

I agree that you don't have to eat there, you could always eat a healthy meal or snack before the party and politely have a sliver of cake, hee hee.

But really they have a lot of options under 400 calories. I know because that is what we did as a family last night as a drive thru on the way to visit Grandma. I was very full and satisfied with the Premium Bacon Ranch Salad w/grilled chicken (230 cal), Newman's Own Low Fat Balsamic Vinagrette (35 cal), and then I ate like 3 or 4 of my son's french fries. And drank water.

I looked up all this stuff on their website and planned what I was gonna get before we even left the house. Most of the snack wraps are good options too and tasty!

eat something filling before you go (like veggies) then indulge in a tiny piece of birthday cake.
I wouldn't eat anything from a fast food place. too much sodium, grease, unknowns, etc.
    good luck and have fun!
