I have a stuffy nose and a sore throat but I still feel like I have the energy to get a good sweat in. Do you ever work out when you are sick?

Go ahead and work out if you feel like you want to. Don't push your body quite as hard as usual and quit if your body tells you to. Also high intensity cardio might irritate your throat and cause (or increase) a cough. My best get better advice is to gargle with vinegar (or 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water if you can't do full strength) 3-5 times a day. Tastes like the devil but boy does it kill the germs lodged in the back of your throat. I killed a cold in like two days with it last year and have used it to fend off early cold symptoms since then. You can use mouthwash after if you're worried about your teeth but don't brush for at least like a half hour cause that's when your enamel is softest.

If it just a runny nose type thing, I still workout , but usually when I am sick it is full blown migraine and muscle fatigue, etc.. And I sleep.
