i take quite a few vitamins. i feel like i can take my health into my own hands by taking care of myself, and vitamins are a part of that. if you like having the freedom to purchase vitamins and supplements at will, you may want to look into your state's upcoming legislation. i live in arizona, and senator mccain is trying to change vitamin and supplement laws with a bill that will only allow fda approved vitamins and supplements to be sold to consumers. why? i'll tell you why...the pharmaceutical companies sign the fda paychecks. so, they want you to take pharmaceuticals, not vitamins and supplements that they cannot profit from. if this matters at all to you, please write to your senators and congress. i intend to tell mccain that he needs a new mantra because "less government" is certainly not accurate.

Hey Emily. I am in Arizona too. The weather here today is spectacular.

I don't put alot of trust in the FDA , next to none really. It's all about the $$$$$.
More and more laws slip through everyday to limit our choices, so yes we should fight for the freedom to make our own, and not have big govt and big pharm choosing for us.
    Fight for your rights everybody!
  • Wow that really makes me mad! This country is getting out of control with the Monsanto bill and now this... ugh.

The FDA is so strict on some things and so lax on others. There's really no consistency. Makes one wonder why we continue to employ them.
