I love kettlebells. You can probably pull up some Youtube vidos and try some out. If you do not have a kettlebell at this time, you can use a hand weight..

I've not been real regular with them but I enjoy doing them and can feel the burn when I do. There are a lot of videos on you tube so don't bother with a DVD until you decide whether or not you like doing them.

Been doing Kettlebell for a year now...Life changing great workouts! Now I incorporate them into almost every kind of workout I do... great for core strength! Try Kettleworx or Skogg videos!! Good Luck and enjoy... you WILL find them FUN!

Actually people can usually swing a heavier bell than they can lift... momentum works in your favor... suggest starting with a 10 lb

Do not go for a very heavy one if you have recently had a baby.

Best to combine with cardio and long walks.

    Asda sell them very cheaply.

Brighton beachfront full of personal trainers with people all doing kettle bells. They looked very fit and healthy but it looked hard work!
