After midnight eating

I woke up at 2am hungry, I ate a container of yogurt... do I add that to yesterdays food log or the next days food log???

  • I tend to log food after a decent nights sleep.
    for example I am on night shifts this weekend. Everything I eat tonight (Saturday till 0730 Sunday morning) goes as Saturday. Once I have a period of sleep and wake up Sunday evening I start logging for that day

    Whatever fits best with your days, long as you stick to your goals (and don't do it every night) it won't make any difference :)

    Small scoop of peanut butter is awesome at fixing late night hunger pangs too but pretty high in cals.

    thanks for your reply, peanut butter sounds good...I think I will put the midnight snack on the day before, so Im mindful about how I snack, knowing my calories may have been at 1200 for the day...

    thanks foryour reply, I do do 12 hour shifts... so it makes it difficult. I agree, If I havent completed a total nights sleep, I will put item eaten on previous day....

    It doesn't really matter. Whatever works for you, so long as you choose one or the other and consistently log it that way.
