A question about fiber.

Hello!
I live in Norway, and food labels have started to confuse me...
On MFP fiber is listed as a subcategory to carbs.
On norwegian food labels, fiber is listed as a completely separate category.
The only thing listed under carbs is sugar.
My issue is: How am I supposed to track fiber on MFP? I've just been entering it under fiber, but I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do.
You see, sometimes adding up sugar and fiber will result in a larger number than the total for carbs. What do I do?

Another question:
How much fiber/sugar/sodium should I be getting?
And how do I adjust for these in my food diary?

Thanks so much for any answers :)

Carbs are made up of sugar and fiber. So it's fine to add the fiber you see on your nutritional label in the Fiber spot on the MFP database under "add new food item". Many people who are counting carbs will look at "net carbs" which is Carbs minus fiber. Just keep doing as you're doing and enter it under fiber.

I aim for about 30g fiber daily for a ~2000 calorie diet.
