What will I look like?

Unlike many of you on this site, I don't know what the thinner adult me looks like. I began gaining weight in high school and sky rocketed as I got lazier and lazier. I don't know what it's like to look into a mirror and see the thin Jerry looking back. I've only seen the rounded face, no neck, thick shoulders and no collar boned Jerry. I'm starting to see more and more with dimples deepening, nose thinning, but I still have a very long way to go. Hopefully by Christmas this year I'll have a better idea and have done a majority of my weight loss journey. I have moved my weigh in day to Sunday and hoping to see something in the way of a loss. It's been a month or more since the scale has moved. I've seen other changes and that has made me just as happy. I wish everyone that reads this the best of luck. If you want help or need a friend feel free to add me. Have a great day!!!

Well one thought is, what if I lose this weight and don't like the new me...what do I do then. I don't think that will happen but its a thought.0

Although I am still young (just graduating high school this year), I haven't really seen myself thin before either. I started gaining weight when I was around 10 and it never went back down so I've spent all of my teen years being overweight.
It is really exciting to think about getting to see a healthier, better me! I do feel afraid that my expectations are too high, hoping that I'll look like all the other thin girls. Like you, because I've never seen myself be lean before, I don't even know if it's possible for my body type!
Once we get to our goals, we can at least just feel happy knowing that we've come out of this A LOT healthier and hopefully a lot happier.0 -

Even if your results aren't all you hope and dream, the benefits to losing the weight are manifold. It'll be worth it.0 -

I'm a little anxious, too. I went into college accidentally underweight, had an awful body image all along, and started gaining immediately after graduation. I did not know until I was nearly 27 That I was having an adverse reaction to birth control pills. By then, I was overweight and it was resistant fat! Net net, I don't know what I look like as a normal-sized adult.0
