What do you mean by a lot? I mean I could eat 5000 calories in one sitting which is not a lot to me. Are the foods that you are eating causing you to be tired? High fatty, processed foods will lead to an insulin spike and crash and makes you feel tired afterwoods.

Tell all of it to your doctor. He might check your thyroid and vitamin D.

I was feeling tired all the time, so I cut out gluten. My energy has increased so much. I used to be in by 7 or 8pm, now I have no problems staying awake until midnight...the difference is amazing.

I've added wheat pasta, jasmine rice, and a one cup of coffee in my weekly diet which has helped increase my energy for long distance running. I am up to 8 miles running straight which a year ago I would have thought would have been impossible. It's crazy when i get to mile 5 in my runs I am amazed at the amount of energy I still have to continue. I also try to add a lot of fruit, vegetables, and nuts in my weekly diet.

I was exhausted all the time until I went GF. When you see the doc ask about a gluten intolerance and maybe go GF for a few weeks and see if that improves your mood.

No we do get it, but your making excuses as to why it won't work.

It sounds like you need sleep, more then anything else at this point. If you are that tired, then you are sleep deprived.

In my experience you just have to keep going until it becomes routine. You're body adapts.

But if you're as tired as you say you are you might want to see a Doctor.

I know alot of people that go to school, work, have kids etc., etc., but can still put 3 or 4 hours a week in for exercise and meal planning.

Accept that you aren't superhuman and drop some, or take fewer credit hours of, classes.

Cut out caffeine, alcohol & sugar. Sit down to eat your meals-do not eat on the run. Eat real food (and no, this is not expensive. Do some real grocery shopping instead of picking up convenience foods on the go). Take 5-10mg of melatonin an hour before bedtime. Have a consistent bed time routine-at the same time every night change into night clothes, brush your teeth & get into bed. Read something boring.

Do your workout BEFORE you do your homework.

Sometimes, I take a an OTC sleep-aid to hep me fall asleep on days where my schedule gets thrown off.

If you want energy, you need rest.

Or you can keep making excuses and hope someone recommends some off-brand of meth or a magic pill that will send your heart into palpitations. In which case, I can't help you.

i rarely do it I have before. About 2 family size meatlovers pizza's would do the trick, they are about 2600 cals each.
