Is it normal to gain some pounds while your on your period? Because every period of mine, I gain about 3-4 pounds and lose them right away. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal--the hormonal changes affect how you retain water. If you really want to get rid of the water weight, eat some bananas or make a parsley salad. Parsley is a good gentle diuretic.0

I'm at the tail end of mine, stepped on the scale and saw a gain even though I was really good this week with following everything, not too much salt, getting in all of my fruits and veggies and water. From now on, I'm skipping weigh in that week.0 -

yep. I try not to weigh mine during, but i made the mistake of doing that today and was up 4 lbs.0

yes it is..unfortunately for me, I gain about 10lbs during that time and it goes away as soon as it's over..I believe it's bloating/water retention0
