I have always really struggled with eating fruits and veggies..and have found out I RARELY get 5 a day. If you wanna track your fruit and veggie intake daily and try to hit your goal (set one of five or more), list them here! I'm sure there are others who will benefit from hearing how you get your fruits and veggies:)
If you need a format, try:
Goal:
Breakfast: (food) (serving #), etc.
Lunch: (food) (serving #), etc
Dinner: (food) (serving #), etc
Snacks: (food) (serving #), etc
Total Servings:

I did not even have one serving today..yikes. But, I have planned out my food for tomorrow, and have 4 servings before dinner already!0

You may find the link at the CDC interesting. It gives you a better idea of how many fruits/veggies you should be eating for your age/sex/activity.

I'm supposed to have 2 c fruit and 2.5 cup veggies
Breakfast: None
Lunch: Canteloupe (1/2 c)
Dinner: 2 clementines (1/2 c), canteloupe (1/2 c) lettuce (1.5 cup)
Snacks: (food) (serving #), etc
Total Servings: fruit: 1.5 cup, veggie (1.5 cup)0 -

Raisins -- .25 cup
Green/yellow beans -- 3 cups.
So far for the day: 6.25 servings veggies.0 -
Did a lot better today
Breakfast: Banana (1 serving)
Lunch: raw green beans (1 serving) carrots (1 serving) and 3 olives (.5 serving)
Dinner: brocolli (1 serving) clementine (.5 serving? does anyone know about this?)
Snack: 1/2 tomato (.5 serving)
Total Servings: 5.50 -
Did pretty well today:
Lunch: salad-lettuce (2 servings), tomato (.5 serving), blueberries (1 serving)
Dinner: green beans (1 serving)
Snack: apple (1 serving)
Total servings: 5.50 -
Breakfast: banana (1 serving)
Lunch: lettuce (2 servings) tomato (.5 serving) blueberries (.5 serving)
Dinner: tomato (.5 serving)
Snack: apple (1 serving)
Total Servings: 5.5
I'm noticing a pattern of 5.5's..hahaha.
Is anyone else interested in doing this challenge with me? It'd be great to have some support!0
