Newbie....again!

Hello all,
My name is Debbie and I recently discovered that my android phone had an app for myfitnesspal, so I saw it as a sign and decided to come back. I'm 40 yrs old, married, have 2 kids (8 and 6), work part-time in a daycare/preschool in Auburn, MA (40 mins or so west of Boston). I've been feeling discouraged lately because I've had to break down and buy a size bigger pants. I always told myself that I would never do that, but I did. These are the biggest pants I've ever had (size 20). I'd been a solid 16 for a while, but this past year, the weight has just been creeping on. Last year I was down to 190 and was so proud, and said I never want to see 200 again. Well, now I'm back up to 240 and I'm disappointed. I have been away from exercise for a while because of a problem with plantar fasciitis, and then more recently IT band (inflammation of the i-t band in the hip that KILLED!!). I wouldn't exercise because it hurt and so I've lapsed into some bad habits again. In the past I've jogged a couple of 5k's and I would like to work back up to doing that again. But, mostly, I need to curb my sweet tooth, cut my portions, and increase my activity. I'm looking for friends & support on this website because I know that the more that are in this together, the better the results! I'm also considering joining Weight watchers again, but we'll see how this goes! Please feel free to email me/friend me! I look forward to meeting a lot of you and doing this together!
