Is it bad to go way under the recommended?, I am changing my sugar to potassium because I am always going over and mostly because of fruit and I'm sick of feeling bad about it- not really bad but i hate seeing the red.
I really don't know and can never remember whats good for what and whats bad, is potass. worth anything diet wise?

Not getting enough recommended potassium can cause fatigue. i found the paragraph below online
Potassium is a mineral necessary to good health. It maintains the water and acid balance in blood and tissue cells, assists in muscle building, and transmits electrical signals between cells and nerves. Early symptoms of hypokalemia, or potassium deficiency, include dry skin, muscle weakness, fatigue and slow reflexes.
One site said 3500mg per day is recommended. Hope that helps. I would consult a doctor if you are worried.0
