okay so I am trying to build a recipe on MFP . I opened a 1lb package of cod filets and when I cooked them I ended up with 9.8 ounces. so if 2 people eat this dish each one is consuming 4.9 ounces of cod. When entering in the recipe should I put in 9.8 ounces or 16 as was in the package prior to preparation ???? TIA for you help

To save time I always use the pre-cook weight for lean meats.0

Moisture was lost, not calories per se, so use 8 ounces as a portion. Wow, that's a lot of lost moisture, bet the fish was dry.0

Use the raw weight0
