I had a question about calorie intake before exercise calories. I have about 100 lbs to loose. MFP put me at 2140 cals a day. I was finding myself eating junk just to fill the calorie requirement. So I changed it to 1600/day. Is this a reasonable amount? Or do I just need to wait it out?
I want to lose weight healthy and long term this is what I need for myself and family. The rest of my life.
Thank you for all your help and support.
I am always open to new friends.

Slowly as your weight goes down, MFP will adjust your calorie intake depending on how fast you are trying to lose the weight. At first I was at maybe 2000, then when my weight went down I went to 1760.

I agree with the above posters. I'd go with their recommendation. However, if you're not hungry, don't feel the need to eat all your cals.
