Dinner Challenge

So I decided I need to cut out the brown rice & wheat pasta from my dinners during the week. I think the extra protein and shocking my body a little will help with the weight loss. I normally have fish & veggies for dinner 2-3 times a week, but always seem to have some type of carb with it. So for this week I'm going to plan on fish & veggies for dinner monday-friday (Fish because I don't eat chicken or any other meat!) and no after-dinner snacking unless it's a piece of fruit!

would it count if I already do this??
Get you some fat free cottage cheese and peanut butter.
Eat a cup of cottage cheese and 1TBSP peanut butter! Just fit it into your macros!
I know right...crazy?
The casseinate protein in the cottage cheese takes about 4-6 hrs for our body to digest and the peanut butter with the mono and poly fats slows the rate of digestion down even more!!! I eat this at about 7:30 in the evening to ensure a good amount of time for it too work! It helps muscle recovery and growth. So your not only losing weight but adding some lean muscle too!
I do this every evening. It helps satisfy my late night hunger. Plus I know my body is really grabbing a nutricious snack! Bout 20g protein 8g fat and 13 carbs!0 -
I don't really like cottage cheese, I've tried a couple times because I know it's super good for you. Maybe if I start making myself eat it I'll eventually start to like it.0

Yup- its just like wine...an aquired taste.
I know many people who put salt and pepper on it....or hot sauce...or eat it with fruit...
Again I don't eat high carbs late at night, but I love the fruit and CC thing in the morning! I actually ate it this morning with peaches! yum.
It is tough not eating a carb source at night - you'll find yourself looking for something to grab about 2 hours later. I really up my protein intake at night. go to sleep early if your starting to feel the nag to eat!!!0
