Anyone ever LOST weight QUITTING DIET COLA?

Why?? Show me scientific proof that this is the case. I just took a look at the ingredients in my Cherry Coke Zero, very first ingredient is carbonated water. So the first ingredient is water. Yes there are some other chemicals in there, caffeine for example, but the primary is still water.
Now, I do know if I was a rat and I drank the equivalent of a 140+ cans I might have a problem, but that is just crazy talk, so probably not going to happen.
Carbonated water is acidic and will over time damage your teeth, especially if you're drinking it 24/7...
But primarily because drinking that much of anything other than water on a daily basis is just plain gluttonous. Would you defend drinking 6 cans of 0 calorie beer daily?
Don't get my wrong, I love my diet coke/coke zero, but I don't need a 6 pack every day. That's just ridiculous.0 -
