Military Diet??

It gives in depth details of a 3 day diet often referred to as the military diet. I read through it and it seems to cover all the basic food groups. This link blathers on about losing up to 40lbs in a month and blah blah blah, which anyone with any common sense knows is unhealthy and you will probably gain all the weight back if you eat this way for a month or so and then return to normal eating habits.

My question is really has anyone tried this or something similar? I am mostly curious to see if this will boost my metabolism any. I have heard that the chemical reactions from some foods can help to increase metabolism and had considered adding in some of these foods into food diary in the near future. Thoughts anyone?

    No it won't boost your metabolism. The only thing that may do that, although insignificantly, is to build more lean muscle mass.

    That looks terrible. You're doing it right with the slow but sure method that's gotten you down 39 pounds. Just stick with it.
