I could really use some tips. I know that popping in my joints means damage to my cartilage, but it seems like I can't avoid it when lifting. I know I should take glucosamine, but I'm so bad about taking anything consistently. I figure there must be someone out there who lifts AND has osteoarthritis.

All suggestions are welcome. :flowerforyou:

Support your joints by using the range-limited weights machines. Free weights put a hell of a lot more stress on the joints.

And if you are supposed to take glucosamine, and it helps, then take the glucosamine. Lay it out in a daily medicine box and just take it.

I have RA and lift regularly. I just work within my pain range. It can be done.

One thing I have discovered is the high reps, low weights hurts more than heavier weights and lower reps.
