You can update your Update "diet/fitness profile" settings to lightly active or active and MFP will update your needed calories.

The reason why you probably have 1200 calories is because you have it set to lose two pounds weekly. If you set it to one pound, and have yourself listed as lightly active, then it should change. You can also manually input different values. I know it can be a little confusing, but perhaps find out your TDEE. There are calculators for that online, and many threads on here that lead to TDEE calculators. I often hear people say to put it about 15-20% below the calculation you get for that. It's also important to find out your BMR(Basal Metabolic Rate), because those are the minimum calories you should eat. Because of my current height and weight, I have to eat around 1500 or so, minimum. It's good to know these numbers. Also, most people are lightly active. I definitely wouldn't mark you down as sedentary. Also, always remember to eat your exercise calories so you don't have too high of a deficit.

    Good luck. :)
