IF, hunger (women) & lifting heavy

I've been doing IF 16:8 for a couple of months now and I'm really loving it. I generally have no problem fasting until noon, but I noticed last month and this month that when TOM came on I was just starving when I woke up in the morning and the hunger did not go away after a while like it has in the past. When you have days like this, do you break your fast earlier or suck it up? I'm consuming an average of 2200-2500 calories/day, so I'm eating plenty and I get lots of protein and fat and a decent amount of carbs.

Also, I'd like to hear from anyone doing (or who did) IF and lifting heavy how/when they do their lifting vs. when they are fasting and how it's working for them. I currently usually have my last food around 7 or 8 pm and have been working out around 6 am and not eating until noon. I haven't started the stronglifts plan yet, but that's my plan. I currently do use some free weights and some machines to get my strength training in.

Not to throw the post off-subject, but what is your reasoning for the IF? I've heard of people who do it, but not too much while doing a lifting program. What do you hope to achieve by it? [I'm not questioning your choice, just being curious...]

I honestly tried it on a whim and liked it so much I adopted it as my lifestyle. In the past I've done the eat 6-10 "mini" meals a day, I've tried eating 3 regular meals and 1-2 snacks and all ways have helped me lose weight, but IF seems to be helping me control my binging a lot better than anything else did. Plus, I'm really finding that I like having 2 substantial meals + an evening snack a lot, which is what I think is helping with the binging.

To me IF is an easy way to cut some calories. It is easy to not eat in the morning when you're busy getting ready for work, driving in, just settling in to work, etc. even if you just skip breakfast and start eating at 10-1030. I would never do IF on a bulk though. It is hard enough to get in enough calories eating all day long.

I'm also on 16:8. So far I'm sucking it up but I won't lie: it is tiring me out more than during TOM-free days. The hunger is there every morning for me, TOM or not, but I have been able to lift and/or do cardio just fine in the mornings. I'm just more worn out doing so during TOM.
