What are your favs? I need to try something other than my elliptical and running. I'd like to do something with weights that will kick my butt!

Thanks!

The Firm has some good ones that have both weights and cardio that are in that range (including warm-up and cool-down) - Total Body Toner, Get Chisled, and Bootcamp are all decent.

Anything Jillian Michaels is good too, and for weight training exclusively Chalean Extreme is a great workout and fits that timeframe.

I'm doing Chalean Extreme right now and it's about that long. So far I really like it, but you do need to invest in weights on top of the DVD set, which isn't cheap. Oh, and I recommend that you either order it from amazon.com or a coach. Ordering through their website is extremely confusing and made that way intentionally, IMO.

I also have one from Jackie Warner that I like, but can't remember the name. I'll try to find it tonight.

My favorites are Jillian Michaels (30 Day Shred, Kickbox Fastfix, Ripped in 30, Burn Fat Boost Metabolism, etc) and Turbo Jam. The best calorie burner for me is Turbo Jam: Fat Blaster. It's only 30 min and by the time it's over, I am sweating and panting but it's very fun, so the time goes by quickly.

Edit: Just realized you said you want something with weights. Try "No More Trouble Zones" from Jillian, it's about 45 min, and 30 Day Shred. Most of Turbo Jam is cardio/kickbox/dance with very few weights.

I am a total home dvd junkie. I've done Chalean Extreme, P90x, Suprme 90, Insanity, Turbo Fire, and Rushfit. Of them all--Rushfit is my favorite, and the workouts were 45 mins long. Strength and cardio together. ChaLean Extreme is a close second.

not a DVD but what about choosing some workouts from fitnessblender.com ?
  • My personal favorite is Biggest Loser's Boot Camp. I do all 3 levels for a total body SWEATING workout. I always tell people on the days that I do that DVD that I am working out with my trainer, Bob Harper ;). Haha
