Um. Who wouldn't want a healthier version of their body?

Those who want Kim Kardasian's body. Or Kate Moss' body.

LOL. Wait what? Why are those bodies not healthy??

I never said they aren't healthy. Their bodies aren't your body. They aren't my body. Therefore it's silly to try to obtain them. Or to worry about curvy, or skinny, or hourglass, if our bodies are not those things. What we should be striving for is the healthiest version of our body we can achieve, and maybe a few pounds either way of fat or muscle based on our own preferences.

ok so based on this...what you are asking us...

is are we happy with our bodies as they are....

or will we not be happy until we are healthier?

    if that is your question,

NO, I am not happy with my body now, I will be happier once I am healthier...

I am not striving to look like someone else, just be a better me.

"I am not striving to look like someone else, just a better me." Perfect. Great. This is the point of my post. I'm not really asking anything, just trying to get people to think about things.

Last I checked, if you're obese, or even overweight, Kim K's body would be a huge upgrade, health wise. And ever since Ms. Moss dumped the drug habit, she's plenty healthy.

    What's with the body shaming?

I'm not shaming anyone. In fact I'm trying to speak out against body shaming. There's another post that says "curvy or skinny". First those always lead to someone insulting one side or the other. Second, not all of us can achieve either of those. I have small breast therefore "curvy" isn't an option for me without surgery. I have big hips, so I don't think "skinny" is possible either. I simply want to be the best I can be, big hips, small boobs, big shoulders and all.
Alright, then I agree with what Adini749 said.

Your intentions for this thread seem good, now that you've explained, but you really need to work on your delivery and trying to get your point across, because it seriously comes across as if you're labeling people like Kim K. and Kate Moss as unhealthy.

You seem to be having trouble with saying what you mean to say. Your original post isn't what I think you intended.
Also, your post about Kim K and Kate Moss comes across like you're saying that they have unhealthy bodies.

I didnt take it that way, prob because i am friends with OP and know her...i read it as someone wanting a body type like kim k or kate moss rather than focusing on improving their own.

I would like The Incredible Hulk's body but with regular colored skin.

What if that physique only came in green? Would you still take it?

Meh, I never read it that way. The OP did seem to suggest that we all currently have unhealthy bodies, but I got what she meant.

    I understood the question perfectly.

Jesus Christ, you can't even start a thread against body shaming without people getting pissy with each other. When, oh when will they add an eye roll emoticon.

To answer the original question. I like MY body now but there is always room for improvement.

Dude, nobody got pissy at all except for you. A few people asked for clarification before she edited and that was it. We've let it go, why don't you.

I'm not pissy with anyone on this thread. I'm just so sick of women talking down to each other based on body types. It is utterly ridiculous to argue over personal preferences.

Please don't call me dude. I am a grown woman.

ok glad to hear you aren't pissy, but your verbiage really implies that you are angry.

we can only read what you put down.

    sorry.

Healthier, less flabby, more muscled up with lower body fat percentage of my body.
But if I could have someone elses, some one who didn't have loose skin or stretch marks, I would take tht.
