is it better to eat before or after exercise (not immediatley of course)

Personal preference...I eat a little bit about an hour before a heavy workout, and I mean very little...if I eat too much it sloshes around, I guess I have a slow digestive system. Then I eat a regular meal or whatever a couple of hours later.0

Yes.
. You don't want an empty stomach before exercise, you should have some fuel. But more important to eat within about 30-45 minutes of exercise to replace glycogen (I love that word) stores. And include some protein in what you eat
