Losing for Life Challenge - Week 2 - 3/8/10

Greetings Everyone,

Monday March 8, 2010 begins week 2 of the Losing for Life Challenge. We are still looking for additions to our pool of 90 plus participants. In the event you are not yet registered, simply post a note on my blog (link included in my signature below, or message me with the following:

1. User Name
2. First Name
3. Age & Gender
4. Goal weight when you have reached your goal
5. Weigh in Weight fro March 8.

I am posting results for week 1 on Wednesday this week. Check back.

    My weigh-in for this week: 202.2 (up from 201.8 last week)

    As I was on a trip to New Orleans the majority of last week, I'll so take that little gain!

    185.8 this week (down from 189)!!! Woohoo!!! Great week last week. I worked out 7 days - 5 days- 60 minutes on the Elliptical, 2-4 mile walks, 1-yoga class and 1-day of nautilus. I hope to have a repeat this week (exercise.... I know it's not good to lose more than 1-2wk). I've been maintaining a 20lbs loss since October. It was nice to see the scale move.     Brunsie (Beth) lost 2 pounds this week. Down from 191 to 189. The first time I have been in the 180s in several years.

    Michele here went down 2 lbs. Started at MFP 247 today 245. Yip yip hooray. Finally I am losing 2 lbs. and not 1 lb. Actually lost an inch around my hips. So excited about that.

    Great news all. I have checked on blog, and both message boards and have everything current as far as 5:30 PM Monday 3/8 EST. Keep those results coming.

    I was 163.2 ....i was 159.2......i got my TOM.. Big loss next week I ran both days this weekend, and exercise 7 days this week.

  • hi there everyone ,well today i did well on my calorie intake and today also made 2 dys without any alcohol.im so proud of me
  • Sorry I didn't post my weight Monday, but I did weigh in. Didn't lose very much though, which you think I would finally be used to by now since I lose it soooo slowly or nothing at all for 2 weeks then will lose a few pounds the next. Last week was 208.6 this week 208.2 only down. 0.4

    I have the remainder of 100 results ready but I can't figure out how to post so they are readable. Any suggestions?

  • congrats to all thoes who has lost weight ,mike i wish i can help but i have no idea,but will keep it in mind,because i know its a tough job.oh and day 3 with no alcohol,alcohol is mostly the cause of me putting on so much unwanted lbs.thank u amanda

    Hi all, my weight this morning is 186.5, down 1 pound from last week. It's better than gaining I guess.
  • This is my first weigh in. Last week I was 158.0. This week 153.4lbs.
    I'm expecting maybe a pound last week given the huge loss this week. So my goal is 1lbs and run 35 miles this week.

    279.4 (down 1.2lbs since last week). Not what I was hoping for, but what I was expecting since I was sick and didn't workout at all. On a better note...GOODBYE 280's!!

    Hello! It's Shannon here with my weight update. I'm at 150 this week with a 2lb loss...total in the last couple weeks comes to 6.5 pounds shed. I'm really looking forward to being in the 140's again!! My goals for this week are much the same as before...exercise daily, drink my water, and stay within my calories. Good luck to everyone and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
