Will It Ever Go Away?

I'm wondering if the cellulite goes away with the weight? Also, the boobs? Will my bra size go down? Wondering what other women's experience's are with these! Thank you.

All that depends on genetics and the answer to all is probably, but it depends on how much you lose and how low your body fat it.

My cellulite didn't go but it's less noticeable because I built a lot of muscle in my legs so their tight. Boobs are more genetics. Mine deflated a lot, my friend never loses an inch.

Of course everyone's body will react differently. In my case, the boobies went first and a lot. I had some cellulite on my legs but it went away a lot when I started weight lifting. However, I had to deal with an injury for a few months and it came back with a vengeance while I was on the mend. :grumble:

I've lost over 100 pounds...and don't let this discourage you but you don't instantly turn into bikini model when you lose weight.

Here's the thing, where ever you have stretch marks you have skin damage. When you reduce the mass behind the skin, you deflate. Areas hang where you don't really want them to. I have this a little bit on my arms, front of legs and belly. In fact my belly button frowns despite my CUT obliques, lower abs and hips.

My chest deflated - from a 42DDD to a 34C. Breasts are mostly fat. When you lose fat, you lose it from everywhere. I have to be careful now on my tops because they look deflated. Weight training and building up my pecs has helped some with this.

I still have some cellulite, not as bad as before but I'm a size 4 and very self-conscious about wearing shorts.

At the end of the day, I don't have a bikini ready body, but I would never go back to being unhealthy. I'm in awesome shape and I love it.

Cellulite is fat. If your body fat gets very low, the cellulite will no longer be visible. I'm down to about 22% now, and my cellulite is no longer visible.

My cellulite is genetic but like a previous poster said, as soon as I dropped the extra 10 pounds I put on it dissapeared:) I have 2tiny dimples on one thigh but those are fading as I do more leg and thigh work!!

The 'cellulite' is gone as I get more muscle and have lost weight. Right this moment, you can see the stretch marks that my weight gain used to hide. They are old - my eldest son is 25 - and don't look bad. But in certainly light, you can see them. Think of them as tiger stripes.

Having read a zillion posts on this, I think the 'boobs' question depends on how big they were before you gained weight.

I was big busted when I had a BMI of 19 - i.e., before I gained. When I lost weight and they got bigger (smaller strap size, bigger cup size, they look better).

My sister was flat chested until she gained a lot of weight. She lost weight, they went away.

I don't have cellulite, but have lost the boobs. I went from a 44DD to a 36 B+. Good riddance!

This is all very encouraging. Thank you, ladies! I am a DD right now, and big breast run in my family. I think the cellulite was all my fault--can't blame my mom for that! But, one of my goals for 2013 is to up my exercise from 2 hours a week to at LEAST 3, and hopefully I can add muscle and hide the cottage cheese.

You can spread the cellulite thinner by adding lots of muscle under it/behind it.

I think exercise, especially lifting heavy, does wonders for getting rid of cellulite. I still have weight to lose but the cellulite on my thighs is almost gone.

As for the boobage...I've gone from a DD to D. Would love to get back to my B cup someday. But would settle for a C. But I think it's genetics on how much you will lose from there.
