I like my Spirutein vanilla protein shake a lot, but it's only good mixed with milk, not water. I want to keep it at work and not have to worry about having fresh milk available. Thinking of getting some powdered milk, but that stuff is gross. Any other ideas for a powder to add to my powder?

I use the unsweet vanilla almond milk. Has a LONG shelf life and doesnt take up much room in the fridge at work. Before I brought it, i would just mix it up at home in a bottle and take it with me.

If you're looking for stuff that doesn't need to be refrigerated, how about canned milk? Or there's some sort of scary organic milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated.

powdered non-fat milk isn't really gross. i usually stock some at home. sounds like a good thing to stock in the office if you ask me

NesQuick powder. It's dry, tastes awesome, and it's not entirely bad for you. Fairly low cal for a small serving.

I used to use Strawberry NesQuick with my Vanilla Protein Powder.

Edit: And your coworkers won't steal it from the fridge if you keep it at your desk! :D

Mixed with the protein drink, the powdered milk might not be so bad. I can't even deal with UHT milk on my cereal though, much less powdered.
