So im told that protein shakes are good after a good work out.
So now im wondering what are the best kind of protein shakes for women ?

You don't have to have them right after your workout, but I enjoy having mine then. The window is 24 hours, so as long as you're hitting your macros for the day, you are good to go.
Now I don't know about what is good for women, but assuming protein is protein, I can only tell you what I use and it is the brand they sell at WalMart. I get the vanilla, drop a banana in there and a tablespoon of peanut butter. I use 1% milk and ice and make a shake in the blender and it's pretty damned tasty. About 500 calories though, too. So I think that's why a lot of people use water instead of milk.
Those that do can give you a lot better suggestions as to what kinds taste better as I never make them without milk.0 -
You should get whey protein & find the protein powder that doesn't have a lot of sugar in it. You can drink protein whenever you want, doesn't have to be right after your workout but a lot of people seem to prefer it then.0
