Measuring progress

I constantly see posts on here about how often to weigh, people that are upset because they haven't lost weight in a week or haven't lost ENOUGH, etc.
I just wanted to throw this out there. This is REAL data from my logs. If anyone reads my posts, you know that I weigh daily and use statistics to measure my progress. Here is an example of why I do that:

If I only measured once a month, I'd be VERY dis-satisfied if those measurements just happened to be on the days I chose. However, I actually made very good progress.
I hope it helps people understand measurements in general, variation, and the fact that there is error in everything we track.
