  • You look wonderful! Congratulations. May I ask how long did it take you to lose 60 pounds? I am starting at around the same weight you started your weight loss journey and we are the same height.

I started about mid June of last year. So about 7 months :)

Congrats! What was your daily calorie goal throughout?

I kept it between 1200 and 1400, even with exercise. But now that my training for this half is much more strenuous (running for 10 or more miles on run days) my body needs more fuel so those days sometimes up to 1800. My weight loss has slowed as I've neared my goal but I knew that would happen and I am happy with a slow weight loss. I want this to be a permanent change I've made in my life. So if I'm only losing 2 to 3 pounds a month now, as opposed to the 8-10 I was losing at first, I'm fine with it. Hope this helps!!
