Does strength training not give any extra calories? Is it only the aerobic that increases the calories?

Does strength training "burn" calories? Is that what you're asking?

My Fitness Pal doesn't calculate calories burned on strength training, so you have to add it to your diary under Cardiovascular. Typically people will put in a description under Cardiovascular that says something like "Weight Training" or "Strength Training" and put in a time, and then calories.

You can click on my name and read my recent activity to get an idea of what it looks like, if you want.

if you lift intensely for about an hour, just put in 300-500 calories for cardio. 300 for smaller muscle groups, 500 for bigger, like legs and abs.
