So my goal beginning yesterday is 30 days no caffiene or alcohol. I know this sounds easy for some... but I drink coffee every morning...
I HAVE lost most of the desired weight but I want to see the results of cutting out those "empty calories" and how my fitness levels are impacted by no caffiene.
I could use some motivation with maybe some success others have had with this or some facts about how those things are bad for your body.
I have been successful for 7 months so far but just need to "jump start" some things .

Good Luck to you...if you have been consuming a lot of caffeine you might want to consider cutting back gradually as opposed to cold turkey. I always end up with headaches and feeling really crummy. I generally avoid caffeine but when I start indulging, even if only for a week, I feel it when I cut it off. My best remeday it to switch to black tea first (PG tips are the best), then Green tea, then White tea. After that I go back to herbal teas. When it is to cold, I just need something warm in my hands and it is a great way of keeping my fluid intake up.0

Good luck! I've been trying to do the same. I'd love to limit my alcohol and coffee intake to zero but it's been tough. The alcohol has been pretty easy, but the coffee is so much harder due to work peer pressure.0
