Nearly half way there......

Hi, i'm aiming to lose around 68 pounds and have now lost 30 over a period of 9 weeks. Good luck to everyone else, it's great when you see progress being made :happy:

    Make sure you reduce your deficit. The closer to a normal weight, the smaller your calorie deficit should be as your body requires more fuel from food. Also, when you fuel your body more, especially with protein, it will help reduce muscle loss and plateaus. Below are some good guidelines to follow and good luck.


    If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal, and
    If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.
