Exercise after the Flu?

Is this something I'm going to have to build up slowly, or should I be able to get right back at it? I've been wrestling with the flu since last Sunday, and now that I'm feeling better I had a massive pig out last night, and thusly tried to work it off.
I fell into bed, asleep, after ten minutes of very slow walking on my stepper.
I'm going to keep trying regardless-do ten minutes here and there but I thought I'd ask.
Thoughts?

I would think it's going to take a few days at least to get your body back to normal. Listen to your body and don't push too hard. Immune system is probably still a bit down and you don't want a relapse.0

Definitely take your time and take it slowly. The flu is always much worse than I remember and it really can wipe you out for a couple of weeks. Just listen to your body and you'll do just fine.0
