Fat vs. Sugar

So pretty much everyday I'm over on my sugar levels, but under on my fat intake.
Most of the sugar comes from fruit, breakfast bars (I know they're not brilliant but they're the best snack for me at work), and yoghurts.
Since the 1st of January I've lost 4lbs officially, did a mid-week weigh in this week and I've lost another pound, so I'm pretty happy with my progress!
I was just wondering if the increased sugar levels will affect my weight loss at some point, or whether I'm worrying for no reason at all?

Calories are calories, it won't change your fat loss. An extremely low or high amount would be bad for you, but if your calories are moderate that is unlikely.0
